While travelling down A1 from France to Italy we stopped for a break at this place. Now our experience of motorway food in North France is not good and worse than British (except Tebay!) if that were possible so our expectations were not high. What a surprise! From minute we walked in people said hello (albeit in German!) and the place had a freshness about it. The food was divided into various areas, salads, grills, etc all which looked fabulous. There was a variety of different drinks, alcoholic and non, together with a selection of freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. Had a look at the menu and prices were very reasonable compared to British. Too early for lunch which was a great regret...
Klar, es war bereits um 14 Uhr, als ich hier was essen wollte, aber das ist doch ein Autobahnrestaurant, und ein Marché. Die ausgetrockneten und verschrumpelten Bratwürste, sowie die bereits etwas schwarz gebratenen Schnitzel in der Auslage machten nicht gerade Lust auf ein warmes Essen . Da ich dringend etwas essen musste und keine Lust auf Sandwiches hatte, entschied ich mich für Salat. Der sah zwar auch nicht gerade weltbewegend aus, aber ein kleiner Teller sollte den grössten Hunger stillen. Der Preis für ein kleines Tellerchen, ein Brötli und ein Getränk von über 16 Franken fand ich bei dieser Qualität für zu hoch. Da kann man sich nur noch fragen: quo vadis marché....
I stopped here for eating on the way to italia last month. the food was absolutely delicious. I had bruschetta, who was super tasty, and some meats and potatoes to go with it. the meat and the potatoes were covered in a kind of sauce/cream and were very delicious. I'm not sure what the meat was pork or truthahn possibly? very nice. I would recommend all three things that I bought and have the same thing again I should ever stand here again, which I will certainly be in the future on my way to italia. it was expensive, but this is typical of the Swiss.
Autogrill svizzero, ottimo per sosta. Ovviamente tutto si paga ... 1 euro per la toilette (anche se poi ve lo riaccreditano sull'eventuale consumazione) ... Mi aspetto che le aree di sosta in autostrada siano piú care del normale, ma devo dire che € 6,50 per un cappuccio non eccezionale mi sembrano assolutamente esagerati ... per caritá, i prezzi sono esposti, e puoi anche evitare la consumazione, ma in autostrada le alternative sono a zero, in ogni caso mi pare un costo fuori dal mondo.

Beim Marche in Gunzgen hoffte ich, verschieden Früchte kaufen zu können. Die Auslage war gut, und ich fragte dann die anwesende Angestellte spezifisch nach weiteren Früchten. Nun, die Dame verstand mich nicht; und der anwesende Koch verstand auch nicht was ich wollte. Obwohl ich mundart und Hochdeutsch gesprochen habe, war schlicht "Nix verstan" die nonverbale Antwort. Ich habe mich dann anderswo günstiger organisiert.
we stopped here when this was once one of the nicer carbahn restaurants, but we were disappointed by the choice of food, and quite shocked that we were calculated chf 6,95 for a tiny part of 6 kartoffel slices. the playground outside is also...not as attractive as before, although the terrace is still beautiful. it would be great if the restaurant would soon be back to its previous standards.
Swiss autogrill, very clean with plenty of space and a good choice of foods, from first dishes to second, vegetables and desserts. Unfortunately for us Italians it is difficult to appreciate this type of cuisine, however the food is eatable, the most 'snailed' thing is the prices that are very high.
Abbiamo pranzato con quel che c'era e non era molto.. 1 wurstel con patate, 1 frittata, 2 Coca-Cole, poco meno di 40 euro! Quasi 1 euro per una bustina di maionese..

Bin hier öfters, das Essen ist immer frisch und eine reichhaltige Auswahl. Salate sind immer frisch, Service Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Ottimo luogo per fare una sosta per pranzo o cena ma attenti ai prezzi perchè tutte le cose sono davvero molto care
