Galardonado con un reciente sol, en este año 2023, hemos ido a visitar @restaurantemarchivirito en Badajoz, todo un local con gran historia en la localidad pacense y que desde luego es un lugar de referencia gastronómico a nivel regional en el que, sin lugar a dudas, la visita no defraudó. Si me pidieran definir este restaurante con una única palabra, lo tendría bastante claro, SABOR, y además en mayúsculas, porque todos y cada uno de los platos que pudimos degustar se caracterizaban por el increíble sabor de sus ingredientes principales, sin trampa ni cartón y sin utilizar ningún tipo de aderezo o potenciador. We went for dinner to this place cause we found it #1 in trip advisor for restaurants in Badajoz, and they are rightly so. Service was impeccable, the waiters are super friendly. We sat outside on the terrace. Took a wine recommendation from the waiter and it was good. Food was great, had the beef with foie gras. The 3 chocolates dessert was slightly disappointing but overall it was one of the best dinners of our trip through Spain. As a side note, and funny enough, the only at the restaurant that weren't friendly/welcoming were the owner and his sons. The stars of that place are the waiters!
In my opinion, this is the best restaurant I have visited in Badajoz. The quality of the food is amazing and the prices, although a bit over the average, are nothing out of this world. Although the decoration of the place needs to be changed, it is still an amazing place for eat with couple, family, friends or whatever occasion you might have. If you visit Badajoz you should try it
Ensalada de langosta buenisima con mezcla de cítricos y gele dándole un gusto muy especial. Si te gusta el atún, no dudes en pedir el tataki de atún rojo, es exquisito, de los mejores atunes que puedes probar en la ciudad. Y no hay que olvidar, que este lugar es famoso por su chuleton al plato, el cual no te defraudará. Sitio muy recomendable. Para volver

This was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was exceptionally well presented and delivered. The staff were utterly lovely and we had a brilliant evening. Anyone who goes to Badajoz, and doesn't dine here, is a fool in my humble opinion
