Everything was very average. Bar was busy but we were met with are u a function? The red wine was poured very sloppily and spilt at base of the glass. Not noticed by the staff and when a serviette was requested to clean up it was handed to me Roger in with. None of the waiters/waitresses were particularly knowledgeable about the food. When the main course arrived it was presented by the waitress as 'who 's having fish '. We asked for a jug of water but glasses were poured no jug left and when one of us asked for a refill only one person in the table topped up before the waitress left totally ignoring 3 requests. We had a wonderful evening and a beautiful piece of cote de boeuf. Our waiter, Tony, was very friendly and attentive as always.
Competently produced good food but lacking any WOW factor. Disappointed that cheese was straight from fridge and not mature.
Great service, very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was great and good portion size.
