If they want a relaxed atmosphere without frills, primordial and rustic food without the urgent service of Gastro-Pubs, this was great! as the British pub is decimated and is transformed everywhere into gastro-Pubs, there are rarely many with good atmospheres. that doesn't seem to be anything but a marinabar. it serves simple rustic food and fish because it is near the sea. I had a pizza that was very nice and I know that they can get many kinds of beer and alcohol. I went to the hottest day of the year and sat outside, view over the marina! beautiful side. the atmosphere was friendly with a mix of people there harbour workers, local couples and people who had boats. the server and bar staff...
DOG FRIENDLY!!! Went for a birthday family meal. Staff were great, the service couldn't be faulted. We booked prior, and they accommodated perfectly, even for a pooch! Great food at amazing value for money! Amazing selection of cakes too! At Eastney Marina, perfect for a Sunday Roast, or a coffee and cake after a walk!
