Worse experience we have ever had. Our server Joanna took our drink order for a bottle of wine to never be seen again. We had to literally get up from the table to find someone so we could order food. The bruschetta was excellent, the calamari was rubbery. We were acknowledged more by the bus person and other waitstaff than the server Joanna who started with us and never heard where our food was after half hour. Her attitude and condescending tone which shocked the other customers as she was loud and rude. We asked to see the manager, she said I will do one better and get the owner. This is a do not miss restaurant in Glen Ellyn. I have been here many times, and everything is always delicious. The family who runs the restaurant are friendly, accommodating and work to constantly improve thier business. The restaurant has a wide selection of entrees, specialties and wines. Never rushed through your meal, service is professional, helpful and responsive. Entrees come with soup or salad, and don't forget dessert. Limoncello cake is a crowd favorite. Ideal place for a family meal or meal with friends. They also cater! Think about them for the holidays or you special events.
I absolutely love dining at cozy mom-and-pop restaurants where the owner takes the time to chat with you. The homemade ravioli was delicious, and I really appreciated that the Pollo Marsala wasn't oversalted—so tender! I also enjoyed a comforting chicken soup on a rainy evening. Overall, it was a delightful dinner for two.
Loved everything about this restaurant! Joanna and Sam provided wonderful service. The food was so delicious: Butternut squash ravioli with vodka sauce, chicken picante, veal parmesan, homemade cannelloni, all great! Pumpkin pie was a perfect exclamation point in a fabulous meal.

Very quaint Italian restaurant. Family owned and it shows in the food and service. Staff were so kind and attentive and everything we ate made you feel like you were eating an amazing home-cooked meal. Highly recommend!
