"Our go-to place for homestyle Italian food and the place we take visitors. The owners, John and Ellen, are originally from the East coast so they do pizza right! We've had most of the dishes over the 15 years we've been customers and love them all."

We got this only because Chucks is still closed, thought we'd try it. Id say it was pretty good but not as good as I expected. My friend got the sandwich that is pictured. He said it was chewy, and there was only 4 meatballs on this (which Iwould have liked, as im not a huge meat person) but he was disappointed with it. They do make their sandwiches in a unique way, though instead of a standard bun, they seem to use dough and bake it. Thats the only special thing I remember about thisplace. I ordered cheese tortellini. Extremely disappointed. I could have made better on my own. Nothing special about itwhatsoever. My daughter got a cheese pizza it also wasn't memorable we got it 2 weeks ago an...

Incredible Family owned Italian Restaurant. We ordered a Sausage Calzone, Mannicoti, Salad, Breadsticks and Mozzarella Sticks. The Calzone was MASSIVE and absolutely stuffed with cheese (Mozzarella and Ricotta) no wasted space at all, and the seasoning ofthe Sausage was perfect. The Mannicoti was exceptional, the sauce that they make is a perfect pairing for all of their dishesits incredible! Salad was crisp and had a good amount of Vingarette Dressing, very pleasant. The Mozzarella sticks had a thickbut crumbly shell and an oozing center, perfection. All in all, if you have the itch for Italian Food? This is where you needto go!

Well I'm thinking that you shouldn't be from out of town if eating here. Anyway we had a group came in after us and was getting drinks and served before us. Interesting that others brought in their own wine for their meal. The food was good a shame wecould get refills on our drinks even though she walked by 4 times before asking but we were ready to leave by then.

My wife and I travel from Colorado Springs to Johnston practically every year. Dinner, at least once, at Marino's is a requirement. Often, we'll order take-out the night before our return trip and chill it in an ice chest, so we can have it fordinner the next day when we get back to Colorado. The only reason they got 5 stars is because there isn't 6.
