I love the guava butter that comes with the popovers. Those two are such classic staples of NM Mariposa restaurant. We held my friend's bridal shower here today and everything went so smoothly. The Manager, Justin, was highly responsive and executed everything that I had requested for the party, including a very specific food order due to health restrictions, to perfection. We ordered the salmon ochazuke and the laksa curry, both of which arrived quickly and were delicious. I'm used to laksa being spicier and served with noodles instead of rice, but I still enjoyed the creaminess and flavor of the curry. All the seafood was cooked perfectly. My friend loved the salmon ochazuke, which was also expertly prepared and a great example of Japanese comfort food.
For dessert, we shared a macadamia nut tart, and the crust was delightful. The service was another highlight—attentive but not intrusive, and they kindly allowed us to sit and catch up without feeling rushed. The ambiance was peaceful and airy, and I will definitely be returning!
Delicious plantation iced tea and holiday special king crab pasta. Server Hunter kindly split our Laksa curry and Mariposa Chopped Salad . The Mariposa burger was as its usual finest and huge accompanied by veg sticks and seasoned hurricane fries. Initially, our server was not smiling. However, halfway through the service, he started to smile. We would like to thank the restaurant for the complimentary birthday dessert. This review is for their laksa curry. This hands down is my favorite place to get laksa. The tiger prawns and scallops were poached perfectly just the way I like to eat them. Service is always fantastic and 5 stars.
