Do not waste your money at this restaurant. My husband and I visited on a Sunday at 2pm and were highly disappointed. The food was subpar, but the service was even worse. The server who brought our food was coughing all over it, and we did not see her again until we asked for the check. To make matters worse, an $11.00 tip was already added to the bill, despite the lack of decent service. The seafood soup, which I had high hopes for at a seafood restaurant, was tasteless and inedible. It was very disappointing to leave the restaurant still hungry due to the poor quality of the food.
Our experience at this restaurant was not good at all. My wife and I ordered steak and chicken burritos, along with coffee. The coffee was bad, and the chicken burrito was the worst - red oil was dripping out of it and made my wife sick, so she couldn't finish it. The steak burrito was okay, but it had more lettuce than steak. The chips and salsa were also not good - the corn chips tasted like they were cooked in very old oil. Overall, my wife got sick after eating here, so we do not recommend this restaurant.
One staff member does not make a restaurant. It?s everyone, and in this case it made the difference. Had one poor experience months ago, tried again a couple weeks after and I am still going back. The staff there now is amazing. Very polite, incrediblycourteous. Every-time we order the food is fresh and delicious. Best Rice Beans for MILES!!! Updated my review based on recentexperiences. We eat there at least once a week now. Best Mexican Food in Elmhurst/Bensenville!!!
Ordered red sauce enchiladas , they used chipotle sauce , chicken just tasted like tinga. We heard the waitress asked the kitchen if they used that sauce and she never came back to say anything about it . The fish was over cooked . We asked for billand she never came back with bill or informed us to go up front for it. There are much better places to spend your time andenjoy well done food, just not here . Book a table now
As a Mexican American, I have a higher standard for Mexican food. I ordered a 7 Mares soup. It was good and needed a little more flavor. Tons of seafood was in the soup and I liked that. Service was excellent and restaurant is quaint plus nicely maintained. Was my 1st here and will definitely come back. They have a full bar and happy hour plus other specials Mon-Fri. Service: Dine in
I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The customer service and food were both outstanding. My husband, son, and I went there for dinner and we were impressed with the exceptional service. The mojarras were delicious and some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant!
