I'm not sure if my visit coincided with an off day or if this is a common occurrence at this restaurant, but my experience as part of a party of two was disappointing. We were placed on a waitlist, which wouldn't have been an issue on a busy day; however, the restaurant was not busy and many tables were available. They initially estimated a wait time of 10 minutes, but it ended up being nearly 30. I noticed larger parties being seated ahead of us, which felt unfair. Additionally, getting water refills took an unusually long time. While the food was good, the long wait and lack of attentive service made the overall experience less enjoyable. I don't think I would return if there's a priority...
The restaurant leans towards the pricier end and the portions are on the smaller side. However, the food is delicious. The service from the host was slow even with a reservation (took almost 20 minutes), but our server Luis was fantastic and friendly. He recommended the swordfish and mahi mahi, both of which were excellent with a blackened smoky flavor. My nephew ordered the 1lb Alaskan king crab with two sides, and the sweet spicy calamari was also great, though quite sweet. The sushi was good but not exceptional. Overall, we ended up spending almost $200 and felt like we didn't get enough food for that price.
My husband got the surf and turf with the bone in rib eye steak, lobster tail, cheesy mashed potatoes, and asparagus. I got the skinny surf and turf with cheesy mashed potatoes and asparagus. Amazing service and food. 10/10 would definitely order it again.
We had a great time at the restaurant on Sunday. They sat us quickly with a nice table in the outdoor area. The food was delicious and Jessica was very helpful even though we were not her table. I would definitely recommend this place.
