This restaurant is a large establishment that offers a variety of clothing and shoes for all members of the family. Additionally, there is a dining area on the ground floor and a spacious café on the top floor that serves a variety of sandwiches, delicious cakes, and hot and cold drinks. I purchased multiple pairs of jeans and the service I received from the lady who helped me was courteous and respectful.
Each table was littered with dirty cups and plates. The staff were very slow and not very friendly, leading one to believe they may not enjoy their jobs due to being understaffed. The restaurant is in desperate need of a competent manager and more efficient and energetic staff. There was a long line, and at the end, a burnt sandwich and incorrect coffee order were served.
I have never experienced such slow service anywhere. The process for taking orders, making drinks, and serving food at this restaurant desperately needs to be revamped and streamlined. It is incredibly slow and inefficient. I waited in a long line for 10 minutes that didn't seem to be moving, but eventually gave up and went somewhere else.
I really enjoy shopping at this restaurant. Even though I don't often visit Yeovil, I used to come here every week when I lived closer. Everything they offer on the first floor is excellent. I tried a cake and it was absolutely delicious.
