Context: Wife and I had lunch here in Aug-2021. Pros: Tasty food, friendly and quick service. Good portion. Enjoyed it enough we came close to eating here twice in a two-day visit. Cons: Outside and most of the inside looks like a restrained, refined restaurant. But the kitchen/serving area is doing like an American dinner. It's a weird juxtaposition. Suggestion: The walls are covered with photos of classic movie stars. Could there be an answer sheet showing who is in each photo? Conclusion: Nice place. Worth a visit.
After the lockdown restrictions were lifted, I returned to this charming restaurant with a limited menu. Despite the quiet atmosphere on a Monday and Tuesday, I can confidently give it five stars as a regular customer. The food was delicious and it was a joy to be back. My partner, who had never been to this restaurant before, also enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this friendly little gem.
The dinner was pricey but the food was excellent. The sauce on the sea bass was amazing, although I wish they had provided some bread or a spoon. The portion size was not very big, so if you have a big appetite, you may want to consider other menu options.
This place is brilliant. We were in a hurry to get to the theatre yet the restaurant ensured we had our food really quickly. Thank you to the waiter helpful, cheerful, really went out of his way to look after us.
