Marakesh restaurant is a Moroccan style food restaurant, and has been our favorite place in the world for me and my wife. You don’t see much restaurants where the owner is the chef himself, making sure everything comes out in perfection. I’ve know Abdel for many years since he used to own another restaurant called Casablanca in Paterson, and the food and taste haven’t changed since. Very unique atmosphere, feels like you are transported to Morocco when you walk in. Went on a Friday night for the belly dancing show food was excellent. Service is very attentive and polite. I went there on a Saturday night with reservations. The food was ok, I enjoyed the dips, they were the best part for me. I'd like to try their full menu one day, see if it's any different.
