Marsh Mill Tavern - Table reservation

I went to The Tavern with my family for dinner. There were three adults and one child in our group. Unfortunately, the food took an incredibly long time to arrive. We arrived at 7.15pm and didn't get our meals until an hour later. While the food was okay, it wasn't anything special. The Wexford Chicken lacked flavor and the House Salad with Chicken and Bacon was soggy. It was disappointing to see that the bacon seemed to have been sparingly added to the dish. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday today with 10 people, including 2 young children, at this restaurant. The food was excellent, with everything cooked perfectly, and our son's rare steak was done just right. The staff were very friendly and engaging, and went out of their way to be accommodating to the children. Karina took great care of us. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I had the most fantastic lunch date last week. The service was exceptional and the food was incredibly delicious! Sarah, the new manager, was amazing - so welcoming and friendly. Mark, the head chef, was also very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. All of the staff seemed happy and the restaurant was spotless. We will definitely be returning soon!

happy staff, very nice carvery and no pressure to overthrow her eating. great worth visiting them when they are in the opposite. if they are not in the opposite, check first the availability as we left it was definitiw busy.

great place, beautiful and busy. but they can still have a table, menu is very good. the carvery is great. three meat selection.3 plate sizes small, regular and large.
