The most disorganized lunch counter experience I’ve experienced. There is no plan for separating phone/take out orders from those dining in the store. Some phone/take out orders appeared to be were large. We waited for our sandwiches for over 30 minutes while others who placed orders after us were finished eating. The rationale provided by the counter staff was there were “big take out orders” that had been placed. It would’ve probably been ok with us if the food was good (not fresh, rancid tasting aioli) and if the atmosphere was inviting. It was awful. We won’t be back.
I am very disappointed with the services. This was my 3rd time shopping here. The 1st couple of visits, the lady working the cheese was outstanding. Today makes me not want to return the man working the cheese was very rude. I did order quite a bit of cheese, but his comment about my order made him want to quit was unacceptable. I chose to pick other cheeses and cut them myself so I wouldn't have to bother him at all.
Each time I have bought a bottle of wine from here, it has turned (from a white Bordeaux to a bold Cab. . They must be pushing wines kept in a hot container for months during transit or discounted bottles for that reason. I have tried over and over (wasting thousands . Never again and it’s about time they wake up and sell Blanton’s…hello, guys…it is 2023..think!!!
We had a great lunch there on Saturday. We got there about 11:30, which was just in time. By noon, it started getting crowded. They had alcohol tasting at the same time, so while we were waiting for our order, we could sample what they had. We ended up not only having a great lunch but also took home a bottle of the wine we sampled. Book a table now
I have enjoyed going to martin’s forLunch for years. Love the tri salad. A scoop of three different types of salad. Unfortunately won’t be visiting there again. My friend and I got the same exact thing for lunch egg salad, macaroni and shrimp and chicken salad. Both sick that night food poisoning.
Went in doing some Bourbon hunting, when an associate named Kelly came by. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about what I was looking for and gave some great recommendations.I will definitely be coming back for some additional bourbon hunting in the future.
First time in the store. Great selection, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Stop in if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.
whoever whoever the Service person is behind your fresh deli slicing meat needs a lesson in customer service approximately 11 AM on Monday. I won’t be back to this location. Book a table now
I ordered the executive club on rye. Was really good until I got a bite of Kraft American cheese. This is Martin's right???? Kraft singles.... No thank you!!
