I highly recommend this bar for both its drinks and food. I have ordered here about 5 or 6 times, trying both the beer and late night options. The menu features a variety of standard European dishes such as calamari, sauteed fish with boiled vegetables, and lemon soup, all of which are of high quality comparable to a 4-star restaurant or a top private chef. Marx Cafe also has a wide selection of alcohol, including several beers on tap. The bar stays open late and has large screen TVs showing a variety of sporting events, making it the perfect spot to catch West Coast or late night NBA and NFL games.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. They offer a wide variety of drinks on their menu. I decided to order the burger, while my friend chose the trout. Unfortunately, my friend's trout had too many bones, making it difficult to enjoy. However, the waiter was extremely kind and replaced it with a burger free of charge. I also highly recommend trying the double chocolate ale, it was amazing. I am looking forward to returning for their live music nights. Don't hesitate to give this place a try.
I enjoyed the delicious food at an affordable price. The hummus and pita I ordered for happy hour was great as an appetizer. The service was efficient, and I liked the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Next time, I will consider trying the bar area.
Great little hole in the wall! Been by it a ton of times but stopped in for brunch on New Year's eve and had great food and a phenomenal bartender. Looking forward to coming back to watch a soccer game!
