This was the first halal fried chicken chain in Surrey and we went there with quite an excitement but it repeatedly failed expectations about food quality until we completely lost faith and stopped going there. But then they opened one in Guildford and we heard good things about it so we gave it a try and it has became our go to place. Based on this recent experience we went back to this place after long time thinking that the chain might have improved the quality overall but turned out we were wrong. All of us had stomach upset and we renewed our resolve that there is something wrong with this particular location, so not going back ever again to this one and stick with the reliable Guildfor...
I love Mary Brown's but I don't know what it is with this location. Twice in a row over about a month I've ordered from here and the chicken has been flavorless and dry It's like someone forgot to add any spices into the batter. It seems like someone's also trying to save time by cutting the least amount of taters out of a potato meaning you get these huge chunks which is not a good thing.
Did a delivery order. Unfortunately the place took so long in making the food that the service had to find a new driver and even then he was waiting for the restaurant to finish preparation. When we got the food, the chicken was stale and smelled terrible. Like the chicken was off. Inedible. Threw out the entire order.
I didn’t know about this place existed until driving by last week. Mary Brown’s chicken has now became my favorite fried Chicken place. The best part of their chicken is that it has lot of meat unlike KFC or any other Fried chicken. The tenderness is perfect blend with the crispness. Love it so much.
