Although the food can be inconsistent, we enjoy the food we eat here the majority of the time. I definitely think there’s an opportunity in the costumer service area. One time we arrived at their doors at 7:57 (closing time is 8PM) I understand it was almost your closing time, however I’d think you’re a local business trying to get more business? The employees saw us try to open the door and just stared. I don’t think denying service even 3 minutes before your closing time is financially smart. I work in a restaurant and we continue to take orders after closing time at times to get that extra and make our costumers feel special and valued so they’d come back! Not the case here. Got a recommendation to try out the mason jar, glad I stopped in. Place is on the square, and looks like a neat local place with real old wood floors. Fried pickles were fresh and good. The mason burger is 2 patties with a fried egg and good. The chips as a side were very good, and kinda like Bucky's. Plenty of food. I would go back for sure. Service: Dine in
Awesome little Cafe, just always a joy to eat here! The food is always spot on! In historic downtown building in Centerville, definitely need to make a place to stop and have a meal, I eat here frequently and it never falls short of expectations! Mason Jar has the best burger in town, and I've lost count of how many times I've ordered the Black Bean Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. It's simply that delicious! Hats off to Kate!
