I had been wanting to try this place for a few years. The sandwiches are quite expensive, but they are very large. I found both the short rib and the 53rd/6th sandwiches to be overly salty. The short rib meat could have been more tender. The sandwiches were generous with the amount of protein, which was nice, but they lacked the truly good short rib flavor and texture. The 53rd sandwich had a spicy dressing that was overpowering. The chicken was not very tender and had an overly salty taste with an unusual seasoning. If you have had the real 6th Ave cart food, you know how incredible it tastes, and I was hoping for more of that experience at this restaurant.
Mason sandwich company is exactly what the name says... Sandwiches. The Crispy Eggplant Sandwich, Flank Steak Sandwich, Buffalooch Sandwich, Buffalo Cauliflower are delicious. I would put the entire menu here if i could. Even the homemade potato chips they give you are great. The establishment is small, so not many tables. When ordering to go, try to order ahead of time through the app because you will be waiting 20 minutes sometimes for your food. Which is a testament to the fact so many people are ordering from there.
