We ordered a porterhouse for 4. We were told that the hotel went out. The place was EMPTY! Then we asked for 2 Porterhouses for 4 neither. Then why did the waiter say? They had only single porterhouses. The service was fine. The place was clean. The food wasn't so good. I'm not even gonna eat there when I stay at the hotel. I must preface this review by saying the last time we ate here it was very good. This time around I can't say the same. There was an issue with the soda system and all our soda were flat. It took a half-hour to find a server to replace them, an again the sodas were still flat. Well ok, these things happen. However I can not forgive the poor quality of the filet mignons. The steak had a strange taste and I did not eat more than 3 bites. The creamed spinach was absolutely foul. Shortly afterwards my stomach was not good to say the least. This restaurant had promise but unfortunately is off my list. When you are charging high-end steakhouse prices, you better deliver quality food.

The roasted asparagus was a little overcooked, but had a beautiful char and lovely flavor. Very good wine list with reasonable prices! Definitely worth eating at this restaurant when you're looking for a delicious steak dinner in a relaxed and beautiful environment.

Make sure to visit Joe the bartender and say hello to Frank at the front desk - they will make you feel right at home and enhance your evening. The steak with the secret marinade was absolutely delicious!
