Our first time there and this restaurant wowed us. Great food, awesome environment, quick friendly accurate service. Best part was the value. We were drinking wine with our meal and it came out to roughly $100 per person before tip. For an upscale experience, charming decor, mature dress-up crowd, high-end food quality and excellent menu worthy of becoming a regular...this restaurant will not dissapoint you. Highly recommend for date night or to impress business associates and colleagues. Only thing is you have to get reservations in advance since it's a very popular place, and there is no garage or valet so parking is a challenge. Uber or Lyft is the way to go.
Matisse never fails. Menu is varied; food is beautifully prepared and presented. Service is terrific staff is really well trained and knowledgeable. It can be a bit noisy, with close together tables. I'm a bit deaf, so I always ask for the quietest spot. We celebrate here, together and with friends, frequently.
This restaurant has been a great place for us to dine over the last 20 years or so. We keep returning with guests because it continues to please in every way. The food is good, the menu interesting and the staff professional and courteous. Fritz and his team do a really good job every time.
Matisse is a wonderfully reliable dining destination, and clearly that secret is out it was packed on a Thursday night when our party of 6 came for dinner. A great and varied menu with something for everyone. We shall return, as the saying goes….

Each dish was fantastic. The short ribs were delicious. Every order was served hot, which is not always the case in my experience. The dessert, especially the apple tart, was delightful. Thank you so much!
I have eaten at Mattisse several times for dinner, and the excellent service, menu selections, friendly staff, and delicious wine and cocktails were just as noticeable during Easter Brunch.
Superb. Good food. Good drinks. Good service. Delightful atmosphere. Matisse is the perfect place to enjoy a nice drink and fine meal with friends or to celebrate a special occasion.
Portions, quality, presentation (the eye has its due) all excellent. Ate outside pleasantly, but it can be a bit noisy in the back.
