May I begin my by saying I have waited a long while to finally dine at Matiz. And may I start off by saying that the food is hands down delish. My husband& I started the evening w/fried plátanos w/double chicken& guacamole w/a side of their signature hot sauce “aka” pique. As we waited for our apps we moved on to 2 Mezcalitas. My brother and I went back to our old shared stomping grounds actually his) I lived in Briarwood. We wanted to me after the holidays just to catch up. We just picked this place after finding parking. Love this place. Been here a few times. Drinks are amazing, food is great and most importantly the staff is warm and welcoming.
