This was my first visit to this excellent restaurant, and I had a wonderful experience. It wasn't just the delicious food that impressed me, but also the outstanding customer service! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were exceptionally kind. In comparison to Derby, the prices here were much more reasonable, the food was far superior, and the service was noticeably quicker. I will definitely be returning!
New to the area and it’s August, so I thought I would walk into a nice cool air conditioned establishment since it’s 102 outside, well it’s 80 inside. The service was great, but chintzy with the AC. Regulars have mentioned it’s like this all thetime. Who wants to drink beer when it feels like summertime inside? A comfortable environment more business!! ????
I liked the setting. It's dimly lit and there's a ton of games on over the bar. It can get a little loud but it's everyone having a good time. I had some food, the Buffalo Chicken Salad and it was really tasty. The chicken was fried well and my saladchilled and cut to perfection. It was overall a good experience.
Stopped in for dinner and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic. I had the Chicken Vechia with spinach and corn chowder. It was amazing. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. We ate in the restaurant for the first time. We ordered the Pasta Primavera and Turkey Reuben. The food was great, but the background music was a rock radio station. We were expecting Irish music, so the rock music and commercials were distracting from the Irish pub atmosphere.
Excellent meal at Matt D’s on a Sunday morning. Great place for Sunday nfl with bar counter. I was a single and low maintenance. However, like many places they were understaffed. I had the Loco Moko with the patty grilled instead of flat top which makes a huge difference.

This is a great local spot for some good food and to catch a game. I don't live in the area anymore but I've been coming here for over 15 years. I love their Guinness stew and pot pie. They always have a good tap selection on beers. Support localbusinesses!! Book a table now
