Late Sunday afternoon lunch, almost 2pm Only one table being used outside Daughter wanted indoors but don?t think it was any cooler inside No tables inside, just a bar with stools on either side Hot dogs were pretty good: bacon/Mac and my own creation, thought my kid would like the ?skinless? cuz it sounded like he would, but he preferred the regular dog My favorite was the chili cheese fries by far!! Well coated with both chili cheese Kids had a scoop of ice cream and a root beer float to top it off By the time we were eating, line was out the door! Just wish they had a better seating area but we?d probably come back if in the area
First time visiting Matt?s Red Hots. Ordered a Chicago dog. Sign said made to order. Stood there almost 15 minutes until I got my hot dog. Then I saw why it took so long. Family sitting outside had ordered like 12 sausage sandwiches and fries ? I overheard another couple say ?It takes a while but they?re worth the wait?. Well, it was worth the wait. That Chicago hot dog was the real deal. Dog had a great snap when I bit into it and great flavor. Not cheap but what food is these days. I think this hot dog was like $4.50. I will be back to try a different hot dog and the fresh cut French fries.
Sahlens hot dogs! And loganberry! Must be from Buffalo, NY! Delicious! Reasonable and quick!! Lots of choices?hamburgers, hotdogs, onion rings, French fries, ice cream, shakes and the like!!! You should give it a try if you?re in the area! You won?t be disappointed! ??????
Can't find many hot dogs, but I'm glad I did. Have tried and liked them all! Jumbo cattle dog with sour wort, foot length chili cheese dog, and large parts frits and onion rings. The taste and consistency of chili and onion rings were amazing.
