we had a wonderful evening and felt culinaryly pampered by team max enk. thanks for that! in particular we would like to highlight the great service of benedikt. he thrilled us with his incredibly nice and at the same time competent and cultivated art and many background information about our food and weep and an incredible knowledge about ancient denkern and beautiful strata. we come back and special thanks again to benedikt!
Our experience at Max Enk wasn’t so pleasant. I ordered the tuna mix as a starter which was really delicious. As a main course I had beef fillet served with mashed potatoes and mushrooms which was a total failure. The meat was nicely cooked and tender, but the mashed potatoes and mushrooms were awful, I couldn’t eat any of them besides the meat which was really good as I said. We also enjoyed the wine and dessert.
the afternoon on 31.08 was not a highlight. tastefully a little fade, the suppe tasted, the pak choi was roasted and tasted like dried leaves. very good was that dessert, the tarte with minz cream. because of the good reviews I promised myself more. also the cheap lunch menu at high level. Why is an amuse cube served only when ordering from the regular card? I have experienced better kitchens in past.
