I tried Max when it just opened and wasn’t that impressed so I thought almost years have passed let’s try it again. My family was intown and was thankful for the reservations due to covid but the milkshakes are half whipped cream for the price. And the prices are high for the quality. There was a few mix ups with our orders but to be honest I have grace because everyone’s in masks and trying to get through this together. All in all. Cute place for a hangout with friends. Not a fan of the food
Small menu that they do well. My only negative is the prices. It’s a bit overpriced though considering it’s served in foil containers with plastic forks. $16 for a double burger feels like a stretch, especially when you have to pay more to put a slice of cheese on it. Would come back just to get some drinks and apps.
Our server was great! The menu was small, food was average. I ordered a summer salad and it was just a basic salad you would get from any restaurant. Drinks were good. They had a nice beer selection, different from most restaurants in Lancaster which I did enjoy

Max 's Eatery is one of our favorite restaurants and we were so happy to be able to eat indoors safely. They have adapted to the new normal in this time of COVID-19 and we felt safe and the food was, as always, amazing! We can 't wait to go back!
Had a great lunch on Sunday. The staff was very accommodating when there was a glitter in Open Table with my reservation. The dishes, drinks, service and ambience make these from my favorite spots to get breakfast / brunch / lunch in Lancaster!
