I highly recommend this restaurant in Arlington with incredible food and service. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. I have been to Maya Bistro twice and both times were fantastic. I tried the Adana Yogurt and Spinach Pie, both of which were delicious and came in generous portions. The bread served before the meal with olive paste was a unique and delicious touch. The waiter even gave me more bread for free once we finished ours. The service was perfect and I felt very welcomed. I am looking forward to my next visit to try more of their authentic dishes on the menu.
The food at this restaurant is incredible and the service is outstanding. As soon as my wife and I walked in, we were welcomed like family. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We tried a variety of dishes including htipiti, baba ganoush, patlican kozleme, mousaka, Adana, baklava, and kunefe, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is casual yet relaxing, making it a perfect spot to visit frequently. It is obvious that many others are regulars at this restaurant as well.
I ordered the beef shish kabob and the apricot delight for dessert at this restaurant, and I have to say, I've never had a dessert quite like the apricot delight before. It was simple, delicious, and the surprise of walnuts hiding under the sweetened apricots was fantastic. I really enjoyed my dining experience here.
The food was good. My shrimp was excellent. My husband’s dish was excellent, too. I was discouraged, though, as there were so few dishes that did not have garlic. The manager was very helpful in directing me to the few entrees that did not have garlic.

We were in for dining experience. Food were superb. I had fried fish and it was delicious. My friends had the lamb chops and they said it was perfectly cooked. Juicy and tender. Must try if looking for Mediterranean dish in VA
The food was good, so was the service. We ordered lahmacun, baba ganoush, maya cigars, and dolma. We enjoyed lahmacun the most; on the contrary, Dolma didn’t meet our expectations!
What a wonderful and authentic gem of a restaurant! Food was very tasty and nice portions. Staff friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable. Cant wait to return. Ps- parking was easy!
Service ok. The wine pours are less than 6 oz My spanakopita was good but friends’ Manti and Greek salad unimpressive. The bread was very tasty.
