we were in the restaurant for the third in the early evening and actually because of a recommendation. the restaurant is quite large and yet, although it was in the week, well visited. where the average age feels loud at 65. this charm also sprays the restaurant, it was supposed to be clean and tidy, but it looks all a little older.Well, we got a table assigned and were also served quickly. the speciality of the brewhouse is the beer. they have of course all sorts of the oggersheim brewery same name. to eat good-bourgeois with yet amazing finessen. we had steaks with kartoffen or with salate. the portions were sufficiently large and also somewhat tasty. the ordered gargrade were never reache...
had preordered a table for eight people and booked "Fassbier-Party". we had to wait for the food for an hour. we wanted to bridge the time with salat from the unfortunately modest salatbuffet salat is not provided in the offer! later the friendly service came and apologized. there's salate! eating: sausages,seed dumplings,seeds,and minimal meat. bratkartoffel everything completely boiled and without own taste. the grilled necksteaks and the chips were missing. only the beer was good!
we were invited with a bigger group for birthday there. the true fall. I had ordered a rumpsteak. the bratkartoffel were a large mountain kartoffel slices, lukewarm and without taste. the steak was so cold that the crimped butter lying on it was not melted. the crimped butter was almost frozen. my wife had a spatula with ham. cold. ham colourless circular from the plastic pack and without taste. the spasms did not come with butter but with oil, nonsense. 1 x and never again!!!
it is a very rustic and simple restaurant. there is a small salat buffet where you can use yourself. the main dishes are also rustic and very plentiful! the offered home cooking tastes very tasty and is also one or other times a local speciality. also the prices are reasonable and not too high!Some further recommended! there is no choice in oggersheim, so you can't do anything wrong with a roast, carving or imperial bull. soon there are also gans and wild. and always a tasty beer - my favorite the cellar beer!You should not make the mistake of wanting to eat everything - the cost is heavy.
