We attended the soft opening, so things may have changed a little since then. Mayfair Lane is a lot more light and open than The Brown Fox, and is now divided into a dining area section and the bar section, with separate menus for each.

The food is reasonably priced overall; basically what you'd expect for a place of this type.
The stuffed apple that comes with the pork is delicious. I would eat a meal of just those.

This place was fabulous, can't recommend it more highly. The wine list was impressive with plenty of options for all prices. Had the steak tartare and couldn't fault it. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and the dining room looked amazing with so many small details that made it all in all a great experience. Will be heading back soon

Service and atmosphere were great, food was average unfortunately. Don't order the goats cheese cigars if you're hungry, they were barely entree size.
I'll probably return and give it another chance as despite the food not living up to the hype we had a really enjoyable night here.

Really great look pub, fancy even with the bling chandeliers! Great steak! Delicious fish pie with big chunks of salmon! Would have been better with a pastry top tho!
