Was told “20-25 minutes” on the phone, showed up 30 minutes later. It ended up taking almost an hour to get our food, and there were 7 other people there with the same complaint. Finally got my food, went home, and it was chop suey with chicken fried rice. I’m a vegetarian, and had ordered the chow mein. My husband called and she said to bring it back and she would exchange it. We live nowhere near there so he insisted on just getting his money back. She said she was too busy to help him.I ate the vegetable chop suey even though I dont normally like it- at that point it was an hour and 45 minutes past dinner time and I was hungry. I was flavorless.
I would give this restaurant 4 stars because the food was delicious. Eating is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the St. Clair Shores area. However, the service was not great. We placed an online order for pick-up and were told it would be ready in 25 minutes. When we arrived after 30 minutes, they hadn't even started our order. We ended up waiting almost an hour to eat. The staff was not very friendly either. The food was worth the wait, but be prepared for a wait time.
Since the management has changed at this restaurant, the service has become terrible. The food is decent, but I am done with this place. They tell you it will take 20 minutes for your order, but it takes 30 minutes. Then you have to wait another 20 minutes to actually receive your food. It feels like they will only start preparing your order once you arrive at the restaurant.
i lowwwvee this place ,but since new owner in very disappointing 1st time I went there I ordered mayflower rice I took it home and had smooth fried rice 2. once I came in the same week in the same week I said that I was trying to recognize this again for my food when I came home to check my top account was taken out that I did not agree I was disappointed twice Book a table now
Often times we've gotten Chinese food from here. The food quite good. They take their spicy stuff seriously! Only negative I would say was the wait. I called and was told 20 minutes. I got there 40 minutes after I placed my order and still had a breif wait in the restaurant to pick up my food. All in all not a bad place to get take out
I stopped in to get our kids some takeout, and they were very happy with what they got (General Tso wonton soup). I will say, that I noticed that they've got egg rolls, WITH bean sprouts! That style of egg roll is becoming harder to come by these days, and they're really good!
Was told food would be ready in 20 min. I waited over an hour in freezing I heated lobby. Woman behind counter only yelled phone numbers at people. Not personal at all.
4 stars for excellent food. Negative 20 because you call in, wait the 30 minutes for pick up, come in and wait 30 to 45 minutes more. You have been warned! Book a table now
I highly recommend trying the shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg foo young at this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
