Went here for Tuesday dinner with colleagues. The place is empty (but seems like lots of people order and just pick the order up) I liked the lamb shank I got. They are generous with food and the pricing is very fair. We all enjoyed our food. The starter sampler with hummus was nice. The rose-saffron ice cream was interesting. It's nice, maybe a tad too strong in flavor for me, but I liked trying it. Note that they don't really have alcohol on the menu though, if that's something you're looking for. They do sell bottles of Azerbaijan wine but that's it.
First time here, ordered to go because it was Christmas. Not always the best day for me for many reasons but the service was beyond amazing (the woman who took my order and gave me it) was so sweet and left a cute message on it that truly made my day. This restauant has the best tea I've had in the D.C. area. What I love most about this restaurant is that it is small and quiet enough that you can have a conversation. It has a small fountain and soft music that contribute to a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is friendly, yet unobtrusive. I have been here a few times but every single time has been a hit! For starters, this place is 10x better than Moby dick. I recommend the lamb and beef Kubideh combo and Mazadar sampler.
