I saw another review raving about the manager Alisia but I didn 't get to have that same experience. Witnessed her yell at an employee for cleaning up and area a few minutes early. She made the work and dining environment hostile and uncomfortable. Shewas very unprofessional and when the young lady stood up for herself and asked not to be talked to that way the manager told herto clock out and leave. I let the young lady know that she didn 't deserve to be talked to that way. Maybe teach your mangersprofessionalism and this place wouldn 't get So many bad reviews. I placed a pick-up order from Mcalister's Deli during my 30-minute lunch break. The email confirmed my food would be ready by 2:00 PM, just 15 minutes after ordering. However, when I arrived at 2:00, my half sandwich and soup weren't ready until 2:15. The sandwich was disappointing—completely dry, missing the mayo listed on the menu, and had only a tiny dab of honey mustard in the center, even though I had requested it. This was by far the worst sandwich I've had from Mcalister's Deli. It's unfortunate because I work right next door in uptown, but I won't be returning.
I’m giving this place two stars only because the broccoli cheddar soup was good. However, the garden fresh turkey sandwich was quite disappointing, especially considering I paid $14 for a half sandwich and soup. There was just a tiny slice of avocado, and it had way more spinach than necessary. If you advertise something on your menu, it should resemble the picture. I won’t be returning here again. Making a decent sandwich shouldn’t be this difficult.
The food was decent overall, but the potatoes we received seemed a bit neglected. They were overcooked, and the toppings were sparse—definitely not what’s shown online. The server wasn’t very friendly either, making me feel like they just wanted me to leave quickly. I’d still eat here again, but I’d probably avoid the baked potato and hope for friendlier service next time.

The service was exceptional! The roast beef sandwich on ciabatta was good, and the McAlister's club I ordered for takeout was delicious, although it was somewhat challenging to eat on the go. The tea was fantastic!
I tried the spicy turkey sandwich and it was delicious. The customer service was excellent, and their unsweetened tea was outstanding.
I had a disappointing experience at McAlister's Deli, and the staff were very unwelcoming.
