While the restaurant itself is not to blame, the drive-thru is poorly positioned, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars. As for the food, my wife and I enjoyed the best Egg McMuffins we've had in quite some time across Alberta and BC—fresh and piping hot. The iced coffee exceeded expectations with the perfect balance of liquid sugar and milk. Service wise, no complaints here; it was fast food done right.
This is truly the best McDonald's I've ever been to, so it definitely deserves a review. Kudos to the staff! They must be using some cutting-edge technology to serve food that quickly and that fresh. It was hands down the best drive-thru experience I've ever had. Amazingly, it took less than a minute, even with cars ahead of us!
The restaurant is nice and clean. It features a children's area, but the equipment lacks a slide; kids can only climb up and down, which doesn't quite suit those under 5 years old. Overall, it is a kid-friendly place with a designated zone for children.
I went on a day trip and stopped by McDonald's for an Egg McMuffin and a coffee. I like to have hot water added to my coffee because it's usually too strong, or I just prefer a refill, but the manager refused my request.
