We arrived just before closing time (1 hour before). The restaurant was empty. The food was freshly prepared. We still waited 20 minutes even though we were the only ones there (there was no one at the drive-thru either). It 's a 5-minute walk home. All the burgers and fries were ice cold. The cheese wasn 't even melted, and the meat was cold inside with a dry, stale bun and way too much sauce. Enough for three burgers. And as if that wasn 't enough, the Big Tasty Bacon burger came with a tomato end and a thick piece of core. The burger felt like it had been straight from the fridge. The nuggets were warm.
Today, a female employee (around 40 years old) handed me a Sprite with an obviously improperly closed cap. When I took it, the drink spilled completely, making my entire car dirty and sticky. The employee who handed me the drink neither paid attention nor offered an apology. Minimal help in the form of wipes only came from another employee. The incident was clearly due to the carelessness of the first employee. The food was okay, but the atmosphere was rather subpar. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.
Unfortunately, the staff at the drive-thru are often very unfriendly. One of them is a young man in his mid-30s who always looks very unkempt, with greasy hair, and is never really friendly. If you don't enjoy the job, you should consider finding something else. The customers aren't to blame. Next time, I'll drive a bit further but find friendly service in Sankt Augustin.
The children's play table was broken, and the overall experience was rather average, with inadequate customer service and some orders being missing or incorrect. Otherwise, the food was just like any other McDonald's.

I bought food there today and I was really horrified; the burger and the fries tasted and smelled strongly of old grease. What a shame.
