07 April, 2014.We were a bit hungry, and wanted a snack. A friend and I werewalking from the conference venue, towards the Gare de Tours,when we spied a McDonald's. It had an interesting statue of awhite rhinoceros outside. This led to giggles from my companion,suggesting that my appetite, and general appearance quiteresembled the animal in question, in addition to my usual gait.The interesting sculpture was done as if it had been through alarge 3-D printer. The food was nice but it was full of rough people and teenagers on a Friday night out. Probably better at other times. It is very close to the train station.
