This place has two ordering lanes in the drive thru but more often than not one is sealed off, and given the fact that the ordertaking is not overly speedy you can end up waiting in line more than you'd like. Unfortunately the incompetence runs into the actual serving as well as you should check your bag carefully before you pull away. In the last two times I've gone through there they've shorted me an item. Once can happen and should be forgiven as we're all humans but when they short you twice in a row that indicates that the management is asleep at the switch. In trying to make a 1240 ferry from Horseshoe Bay in North Vancouver, we decided to save time and have breakfast take-out from this McDonalds location. As we pulled into the parking lot it was quickly observed that there were a few cars in their drive thru, however the lobby area looked relatively quiet. I went in with our 3 orders of egg mcmuffin combos with an extra hash brown. Well, I waited and waited and after 25 minutes, my order was finally processed. There was one customer ahead of me who also waited atleast 20 minutes. I actually counted 25 vehicles that went through the drive through after my order was placed. Went to order a shamrock shake and was disappointed what I received.....it was just a vanilla milkshake! On top on that, I gave the guy at the counter a $5 bill for a $3 drink and he gave me no change. I know it's only a mcdonalds and you can't expect much but come oooon!
Tried the McCafe and was surprised how long it took to get a coffee and danish. They gave me a number and I waited. It wasn't busy. And it was my first McD coffee and it was worse than Timmy's. Still smelled like French fries in yhe parking lot at 9am. Book a table now
We love meeting friends at McCafe to enjoy a good cup of coffee; the outing gets better when we indulge in a muffin for only 10c more....gotta love that. You can stay as long as you wish and refills are free - who's counting how many.
Went to this McDonald's with family and friends.. My friend bit into her burger and attached to her burger was a long hair!!!! So gross. .Very leary to eat there again even though the kids love it. Check your burgers before eating.
Avoid this McDonalds as you rarely get what you ordered. Each time I've been there I'm lucky to have checked before I leave, as usually I'm missing something or the wrong item is in the bag.
Waitress was efficient. She processed order quickly and we had the hot food in our hands in minutes. It was good. Enjoyed the maple syrup on the McGriddle. Book a table now
It was good to have a big breakfast at McDonald's while travelling. A good start to the morning and the coffee is enjoyable! Took one for the road.
