It'd look like McDonadl's didn't get its way in Sooke so the local outlet is tucked into the end of a small mall.Parking is a bit more limited and the drive-through arrangement a little bi more interesting than your average fast food joint.Inside is modernised but is a bit cramp given the lack of space. I think this may be the smallest outlet I've been in since one in Narita, Japan (place to change out of tropical clothes in the middle of he Japanese winter).Service o.k. We had free coupons for specialty coffee. I ordered a cappuccino which was at least stronger than the last (free) one I had, in Mission IIRC. My wife had an Americano with milk. Both o.k
I had 3 hours to kill before I could check into my hotel. It was cold and rainy so I didn't want to go hiking. Bought a specialty coffee and stayed there for 2 hours using their free internet. The girl who took my order was very friendly. I had a coupon for $1.00 off and ordered a small cappuccino. She said I should order a large size and I can still get the $1.00 off and it would be a better deal for me.
Walked in, tables full of garbage. Old staff that were off were goofing off in the store. They were giving their food before other customers. They screwed up the order. Charged wrong. At least 7 people working in the back. Leaving the cashier to take orders and gather the order together. Took 15 min to get our food.
Brutal visit for lunch last week, paid for a burger that I never got via drive through. Order taker very confused, paid for food I never got, always check your food before leaving drive thru was my lesson! Not likely to be back! Book a table now
My order was no put through correctly, the food was stale and partially burnt. When I told them about it, I was basically told well I shouldn't eat here if I don't like it. So rude and unprofessional.
I am picky about my coffee, because it is about the only thing that I drink. While I like McCafé, they managed to get it wrong, despite me stressing twice what I wished. Didn't finish it.
By far the worst McD's in canada. Food is ok when they get it right. Longer than normal wait lines (and the lines are not huge). I dont know if they are just lazy or cant do their jobs.
Got the completely wrong order when I went through the drive thu. The meal I did get was dried out inedible garbage. Phoned in to complain and was not offered any compensation at all. Book a table now
The quality of the food is as you might expect from an average McDonalds but the staff needs to care more about the cleanliness of the facility.
