I don't think I've ever seen a McDonalds as busy as this location was when we stopped in here for a quick bathroom break and a bite to eat. Every single table inside and outside were full and even the standing room area by the door and drink machine was crowded. I decided to use the kiosk as I couldn't bother to stand in the line up, and when I went to use the machine, one of their employees decided to come over and help type things in for me. I told her I can do it myself, I don't need her help. I paid for my order then had to wait almost 10 min for an ice cream. As soon as I got my order I ran outside and ate in my car as it was a lot quieter and I was at least able to sit down.
Stopped in Friday morning around 9 am and this location was packed. Used the kiosks for an order for eight of us and it came out rather quickly for 10 breakfasts sandwiches and various drinks. Location was clean when I stopped in and the best feature at this location is the large pullout for trailers and motor homes. Everything was prepared correctly and it was solid for a mcdonalds. If your a foodie I suggest going into town as there are some amazing eateries in Revelstoke, but mcdonalds is convenient if your on the move.
We have a very long camping unit so we often are unable to use some restaurants. This place had large unit parking and,in spite of single cars using large unit parking, we were able to find a spot. The Macdonalds had a hostess to help you with your order. Nice touch.The place was clean and the food was good. I like that you can get salad instead of fries.I also like the calorie count showing on the menu computer. Nice touch.Keep up the good work, MacDonalds!
I normally would not review a McDonald's but the young people who served us were outstanding. Patient, friendly, offering to help at the self-serve kiosk and just making the experience a positive one. Received our order just as requested also.
