McDonald's these days, depending on the restaurant you go to is pretty hit and miss. Due to covid the new automated system they've implemented, initial customer service has taken a serious downturn. I ordered today a chicken legend barbecue sauce a small fries, didn't gave to wait long. I asked the server for a sour cream chive sauce, I was given 2 sweet curry sauces, so had to reiterate for him. The fries were luke warm at best, and the very lovely lady on front of house replaced them for me. I genuinely never complain unless there's a huge reason to do so, so I just enjoyed my meal as best I could. We are a group of young females who visited this branch last night. A member of the public came up to us and stood right behind one of us, breathing down her neck when she moved away, he followed, we asked him to leave us alone, and he proceeded to swear at us and call us names repeatedly (namely c*nts). Security didn’t pick up on this, the one at the door didn’t notice and the one at the tills was drinking a coffee chatting to staff. We had to call for his attention to which he said ‘he comes in regularly, he’s not normally like this’ and told US to step away. As it is in the central area of Middlesbrough as you would expect every lunch time it is absolutely manic!Expect very large ques and often when I have visited there has been meal mix ups. However they do all they can to help resolve this.There’s additional seating upstairs which is badly needed as it can be difficult to find a space but these tables often never get cleared by lazy customers or busy staff so you may end up clearing up after somebody else!Unlike some McDonald's restaurants they are very accommodating with student discount, if this applies to you. They use it without quibble.All in all though it's not bad compared to some and its problem of being busy and longish waiting times...
I got to mcflurry's Strawberry milkshake double cheeseburger and fries I took my when I got served I took my tray over to the side table and then I realised I had no ketchup so I stood up what are the counters and ask for ketchup and then when I turn around my meal has been stolen now the staff did not believe me me and had to look at CCTV once they did look at CCTV they replace the meal but that was not the point they should have replaced the meal and give me my money back I am really disappointed as I like this mcdonalds.in always have give It 5 Stars but this time I am giving it 2 stars. My only issue with this McDonald's is that they are extremely busy fulfilling online orders for various drivers who are waiting around, causing customers in the store to have to wait longer for their orders. It is not as quick of a fast food experience as one would hope for. They could benefit from having more staff on hand. The food is consistent with what you would expect from McDonald's - sometimes it's hot and sometimes it's not.
Place was packed with no organised waiting. Food took about 20 mins and when it came mine was cold and dry and most of it was left. Already had to fight my way through crowds to pick up missing items from my order and couldn't be bothered doing it again to complain so complained to customer services, they've not bothered responding. This is just with this particular restaurant, had no issues with any others I've been to.
Stopped in here for a drink and cheeseburger whilst in town cause I was bored and wanting something light to eat. Customer service is terrible. Waited around for about 20 minutes only to get a small coke when I ordered a medium, they did correct it when I mentioned it though so I'll give them that. They just all seemed so miserable and like they didn't care at all. Food was decent for a few quid though
The food was decent and offered good value for the price. The restaurant is budget-friendly and has a very spacious dining area. It tends to be very busy during lunch hours. However, it is more likely to win a lottery than to be able to purchase a milkshake from here.

The restaurant itself is fine but it was a bit of a mess when I went in there. Kids and locals in there causing havoc which says more about the locals than the restaurant itself. Food was fine although they always get the orders wrong.
