I ordered a Big Mac, 4 piece nuggets, and an iced coffee. The line to order was long, but it moved at a decent pace despite being busy. Payment was smooth and not a problem. When I reached the pickup window, it seemed like a young employee who appeared to be around 12 years old handed me my food and then asked if I wanted a drink, which I had already ordered and paid for. They then walked away to get a bag for a car. Another employee came to the window to ask what I was waiting for. I ended up waiting longer for my drink, which held up the drive-thru line. The food was good and well put together, and the drink was good once I finally received it.
I always thought customer service was first and foremost at McDonald's, except the location on airport and highland road. The employee lied about his name and position, first he said he was a manager then he said there are no mangers present, and he was just an employee, which I found odd. Not only was he rude and abrasive he was condescending. Sadly this isn't the first time I heard complaints about this location and I won't be back and I absolutely will not recommend this place. Attention franchise owner, you might want to have a training seminar with your staff in regards to customer service.
4 cars in front of me, 35 minutes later I reached the window and was told that they have a real IT problem. I said it would have been nice to be informed when I ordered it to take some time and was said that they didn't know. When I pointed out that I was just told about her that she had problems, she hit the sliding window, knocked it off the track and went away. another person brought the food out and the window almost fell out and she pulled out the bag, torn it and almost the order falling on the floor. she gave me another bag. I will not come back.
I pulled in at 6:30 the only person there it took 5 minutes to ask me what I wanted on the intercom told to pull forward 2nd window. 5 minutes at the window while the manager chatted with the waitress person and they giggled saw me waiting at the window had my food ready but didn't bring it to the window they continued to talk after glancing my way. I left I will never go back these people are ridiculous!

I know they have staff issues here, but that doesn't mean leaving your signs on when you're closed. Or leaving mobile ordering on when you're closed. They have closed at random times every single time I go there, but if you're closed turn your road sign off. Turn your drive thru light off. Turn your drive thru menu screens off. Turn your mobile ordering off. Please stop being a horribly ran business.
Their food is always hot and the cheese is always melty just the way I like it. They give me cheeseburgers instead of mcdoubles sometimes, so watch out for that! But they're usually really good about getting all your food and getting it right. Sometimes the line is long, sometimes very long because of staffing issues, but for the most part they are fairly timely.
Most efficient McDonald's we've ever been to. Being from Michigan, we're used to waiting for large orders, even told to pull over in the drive through to wait.. Despite a long drive through line, our large order was correct and the line was surprisingly very fast. Michigan could use some California McDonald's efficiency training! Great job California McDonalds!
The waitress who was wearing glasses had a disagreement with another staff member, and I made the mistake of requesting a bag for my takeout order. She was quite rude in her response and initially refused to give me a bag. Thankfully, another employee arrived and was able to provide me with a bag.

The restaurant was bustling, and although my order was correct, the filet was only average and served warm, not hot. The fries were cold, greasy, and soggy. However, the female cashier was friendly and pleasant when taking my money.
Best sausage egg muffin I had in 30 yrs. Everywhere else is very dry. Also, very pleasant drive through experience. Thank you
