I never thought I would encounter a McDonald's worse than the one in Havre de Grace, but yesterday proved me wrong. The Campus Hills McDonald's is just as bad, if not worse. The restroom was so disgusting that I chose not to use it. I stood in line, hoping to quickly grab a drink, but the staff completely ignored me. The cashier was focused on her headset and didn’t acknowledge me at all. Three young women who seemed to be wrapping up their shifts also failed to notice me, and then the manager came in with two other employees, chatting in Spanish without even looking in my direction. Finally, the cashier took off her headset, glanced at me, and said, "You’re just gonna have to wait," before...

I recently heard a troubling story about a restaurant experience that echoes my own encounters there. Since when is it acceptable for a restaurant to take back food that someone has already paid for simply because they asked for additional ketchup? This person was given only three packets and, when they requested more, they were outright denied and told they would have to pay for it. When they insisted they weren't buying ketchup, the manager had the audacity to take away their meal. Is this what customer service has come to? Is the manager really so poor at managing food costs that they feel justified in both charging customers for enough ketchup and reclaiming paid meals over a disagreemen...
I think the staff could use more training at the register. At least 40% of the time when I order a steak, egg, and cheese bagel, it gets switched to a steak, egg, and cheese muffin instead. The muffin uses a different type of egg and they often forget to add the onions and breakfast sauce. I also request extra cups of breakfast sauce, but sometimes they're full and other times they're only half full. Overall, I hope for better consistency. 10/31/23
I went to this restaurant twice, and both times I was swarmed by bees buzzing around my car while in the drive-thru. It was so overwhelming that I had to jump out of my car, as they were almost buzzing right in front of my face. On one occasion, I even forgot to put my car in park and almost crashed into the vehicle in front of me because I barely managed to stop in time. It was an incredibly stressful experience! The dining room closed early without any sign, so I had to pick up my mobile order through the drive-thru. What should have been a quick trip turned into a 15-minute wait because the drive-thru was busy. If I had known about the inconvenience of using the drive-thru, I wouldn't have placed a mobile order. I usually avoid this location, and tonight reminded me exactly why I do.
I had to wait at the counter for someone to take my order, and I ended up standing there for 17 minutes. Additionally, the young woman preparing my milkshake was texting on her phone instead of attending to her work. This behavior was very unprofessional and the customer service was terrible. I will not be returning to this particular McDonald's.
The person who took my order was rather rude, and the staff appeared to prioritize joking around over professionalism. The employee who gave me my food was on FaceTime during the entire transaction. However, despite these issues, the food was still delicious.
We usually visit the McDonald's in Hickory, but they haven't gotten our order right even once in the last six months. However, this location was friendly and got our order correct! Thank you so much! Book a table now
I ordered four cheeseburgers but ended up with four hamburgers instead. Unfortunately, this mix-up seems to happen every time we place an order.
The food was served hot, the line was short, and everything moved along quickly!
