This was my second time attempting to go to McDonald's, only to be turned away because they were closing early. The first time, I didn't bother saying anything because it wasn't a big deal. However, this time we specifically went out of our way for one thing: ice cream. We arrived 15 minutes before closing, but the worker at the drive-thru said they were closed, even though the car in front of us was being served. We waited patiently, but were completely ignored when we pulled up to the window. The worker then told us they only had fries and nuggets left, before being interrupted by their manager who insisted they were closed. Even though it was only 11pm, the manager continued to yell at us...
About half of the items I get from this location are inedible in the 3-4 times I’ve ordered from here. I am fond of McDonalds but I am not fond of THIS McDonaldsThings like recieving an Oatmeal at 8am that has a sticker that says “Enjoy by 5:41am” and a Sausage Egg and Cheese with meat that smells sour and is overcooked is pretty disappointing. For some reason I got double cheese without asking for it?This is only one of the orders and was finally enough for me to drop a 1 star review. $12+ can get you breakfast from a bunch of different places in Glenview I wouldn’t spend it here.
This restaurant is definitely the worst and most rude location I have ever been to. I just wanted to order a twist cone, but when I went to pay, they asked if I wanted a diet coke. I clarified that I wanted a twist cone, not a drink. When I went to the second window to pick up my cone, the worker handed me a vanilla cone instead. I told him it was supposed to be a twist cone, but he insisted I had ordered vanilla. After arguing back and forth, he eventually threw the vanilla cone in the trash and asked me to wait a moment.
The staff at this restaurant are friendly and efficient, always working quickly to keep the drive-thru line moving smoothly. I have never received the wrong order or experienced any mistakes with my food. I appreciate that most menu items are available all day.
