Never again! Have been driving an hour and a half to go eat here at least 4-5 times a year for the last 10 plus years. We've had inattentive and downright rude service here a few other times, and they definitely give preferential treatment to the locals, but was able to overlook it because the food is good. This time was different though. They were busy and there was a sign on the door that wait times were longer than usual, which is understandable. We came in and seated ourselves, and were initially very understanding that we were completely unnoticed by any of the staff for 15 minutes and that 3 other parties that came in after us were greeted, and got their drinks, hushpuppies, and garnis...
I should have known when I saw a couple walking out mad, complaining about the service, but we had drove two hours because a friend of ours recommended this place. We were treated by the waitress like we were unwelcome. Food was overpriced and it was advertised as all you can eat but seem offended when you ask for more and they purposely take their time bringing it. Never got a tea refill. To top it off my silverware was dirty and the plates they brought out were still wet and they reached of lake water. Yuck.
Went to enjoy a lonely dinner with a broken shoulder after losing a friend I knew for 46 years. Hoping to enjoy relax. The owner was rude when I told her my fish and fries were cold which was unusual and she said I came in with an attitude! Now you tell me…is that any way to treat a person?!? I suggest you hire a real waitress who can treat your customers appropriately before you lose all your local customers. I will let others know how ugly you are to people. And my WATER tasted like DISH SOAP!
Been eyeing this place for a couple years but every time I think about it, it’s too late to head there from our place in DFw but now that I work in Oklahoma at least once a month it was a chance to try it. The food was fresh, and delicious. All you can eat catfish, hush puppies , fries, slaw and tomato relish for $22 per person. So good!!
