My family took me here for a birthday dinner, at my request. I had seen on Global, the fried chicken, and was really excited to try. Since there was 3 big meat eaters with me, we had the sampler platter, and added extra fried chicken. We decided on sides of the garlic fries, the Brussel sprouts, beans, and corn bread. The service was very fast and friendly, and great explanation of the menu, for new visitors. The sampler platter was more than enough for all, and with the sides, we were stuffed, no room for dessert! Everyone agreed the brisket was the star of the meal, so we even took home a pound for the next day, although it wasn't trimmed of the fat as well as you get in the dining room. Y...
Went here on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. He suggested we get there a bit early as it tends to fill up fast and we were grateful for that tip. We arrived at 5:45 and were one of the last couples to easily get a table. The food was amazing and plentiful. As you walk towards the restaurant you get a quick preview of how delicious it will be from the amazing smells wafting out of the restaurant.
Service was fantastic. Sat on the patio on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of action for people watching. Had a couple of pints of craft beer. Server was knowledgeable. Split the brisket sandwich and garlic fries with my wife. The meat was awesome. Tried all the BBQ sauces. Cherry and bourbon were my favorites. The garlic fries are awesome
The food was ok. A little bit too fatty but that's BBQ. Our waitress was friendly but didn't get our order correctly. And then she was a little bit annoyed by us. The drinks were very good. The place was nice and well located. Is definitely a nice place to go for supper. Particularly I won't choose this restaurant as my first choice.

This place is absolutely delicious- I went with 4 other people which allows you to make a platter and try a bit of everything. We got some of every kind of meat on the menu with 3 sides and it was surprisingly quite reasonably priced for the 5 of us. Go there early to get a table and not have to wait- we went around 5:30 pm.
First, I have to say I am not big on either meat or BBQ, but I loved this place. The meat melted in your mouth. It was just outstanding. And the desserts are to die for. We had a wonderful server. She was friendly and funny.
Great food, reasonable beer selection. Small sides. No high chairs. Get there early. Apple smoked chicken and brisket were outstanding. Ribs very good. Pecan pie very good. I will go back again.

Try the beef brisket as it was tender and tasty. Watch out in ordering side dishes as they add up to over what the beef was
