Our new Favorite restaurant in New Hope! Don’t pass this one by! This was our 3rd visit. T.J., one of the partners served us. He’s a joy to talk to. He knows the menu inside out, more than willing to make changes, it’s obvious that his goal is to provide a great experience to their guests! My date had the halibut and raved about it. I had scallops that were done to perfection with a lime sauce with fresh corn kernels. An added bonus at the Station is Phillip. He is a server but he also prepares all of the deserts which are wonderful! We had his Strawberry Shortcake which was wonderful! He also makes the Chicken Liver Pate which is the best! we will not be back to the mechanic street station. Once we came to the restaurant, we met with an extremely rude waiter. to our surprise we found out that the rude waiter was actually the owner of the restaurant. when we were respectful, we were eating. However, the mood had already been ruined and the service remained at a minimum respectless. After we have experienced extreme complaining, we decided that it was best to leave. we had respectfully even thanked the staff that it was not all their fault and instead met with hospitableness we were with extreme hostility. please do not go to this restaurant if you want to be treated with an uncomfortable, respectful and comfort.
tj was a very accommodating host and of course brings a lot of heart into every aspekt of its restaurants. the dishes were creatiw, thoughtful and well executed and the dining room was very well furnished. this is exactly the kind of local gem I'm looking for when it comes out.
Excellent food and service. Asparagus with prosciutto and shaved parmesan. Some of the staff are former staff from the now closed Raven. Their service was friendly and efficient there and they brought the same to the Mechanic Street Station.
