"can’t understand Rob’s review as I have had the pleasure of stopping at this cafe almost daily for the past 3 plus years…its a small family run business,,, and when they are busy,,,yes they can be overwhelmed,,,but everything is cooked fresh to order so the wait is worth it,,the portions are large not small as suggested,,,(maybe someone is eating way too much) and it is an ala cart type menu,,,if you get a pancake just get one as they are huge and good…the coffee and chai’s are the best anywhere around,,,it’s a friendly small type cafe where you are not rushed and it fills fast and stays that way because the fresh daily baked muffins and other pastries are great…so don’t be wrongfully opion...

Meet Me On Main Coventry Conn is birthplace to Nathan Hale, patriot spy hero of the American Revolution. If Hale ever ate at this restaurant; he would have hung himself. This breakfast/lunch is located across the street from the famous Bidwell Tavern in Coventry. They would rather take advantage of tourists instead of satisfying repeat customers. We spent $26 for breakfast for two, we were still hungry when we left. POOR SERVICE: I waited 15 minutes to get my coffee. I had to beg 3 times for it. It came only when my breakfast arrived.
