Mek's Delight - Table reservation

This is the first malaysian restaurant that i have given a 5 star in canada, but Mek's delight deserves it all. With just two people working, you have to be very patient if you come here. But i can confirm that it is worth every second to wait for the food to come. Although the bandung and the teh tarik was good, the food was superb. This is the best laksa soup i have tried in Canada. The ingredients are okay but the soup was just amazing totally should come to get the laksa. The nasi lemak has the best balacan in Canada. I placed an order for take out an hour in advance. I was told it would be ready in twenty more minutes. There was only one couple in the restaurant. I returned twenty minutes later and my order still hadn 't been started. The owner offered no apologies and just said So, you want it ? and What you want to order ? Obviously, he hadn 't even written it down when I 'd ordered it an hour and twenty minutes earlier.I left, still hungry and a bit upset with his rudeness.

This is an unassuming restaurant with a lovely couple at the helm. The Malaysian tea, beef rendang, eggplant sambal, and papaya salad were top notch. We will definitely return to sample more!!

Love this place, perfectly great authentic food and drinks and atmosphere. I thought it might fill my desire to go to Malaysia but it made me want to go there even more!!
