Melba's - Table reservation

I thought the restaurant was decorated nicely. I enjoyed my eggroll appetizer. My main entrée left a lot to be desired . The food was surprisingly bland, I had five people in my party none of us where impressed. No one finished there food and nobody wanted a to go box. Our waitress was friendly. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I had to let staff know there was no toilet paper in the bathroom I waited in line to use which they apologized and rapidly replaced. Also the drink glasses are very narrow. Had to rely on the water to quench my thirst, I thought it was over priced for the quality of food, I left disappointed.

I am a long time customer and was very disappointed with the food. The grits were runny and I need a spoon to eat them. The catfish was not fresh. It was frozen. The restuarant smelled like mildew. The server was accommodating which was the only plus. Overall, I’m sad to say that after dining there for over 10 years I will no longer patronize this establishment. Furthermore, the brunch menu should be brought back.

Had a reservation and still had to wait in line. We had two parties and asked to seat in the same area and was denied because they wanted to charge the group rate. The food was just ok, first it came out too fast, then one of my guest actually got sick and we needed to leave. The restaurant is not worth the hype.

Melba's was excellent. The food came within 15 minutes of ordering and was fresh and hot.

Great food and ambience. Music was a little loud. Loved it and will be back.
