Having chosen Melrose at Santa Barbara to celebrate my 59th birthday we expected to have a good experience. Our initial expectations was not let down as what seemed to be the lead waiter brought us a glass of Cava. Then we sat waiting for around...half an hour before someone came to ask us what we wanted to drink and eat. we joined the night of Diamond members, which I think is a great idea. 18 members on a long table share top tips and recommend new stalls. nice restaurant with friendly service, but it was disappointing for me to get a delicious steak on a cold. teller didn't like to make a fuss but I'll ask next time.
a very good Italian restaurant in the complex. really nice eating and friendly staff. the halfboard deal is worth a big one for the money. this restaurant is just as good as any other Italian restaurant in the environment.
