This place serves an excellent breakfast! The staff is incredibly friendly, which is a nice touch that I haven't seen mentioned in other reviews. The omelets are generously sized, and the eggs are prepared to perfection. The grilled English muffins are always served golden brown and never burnt. You can choose how you like your bacon—crispy like my wife prefers, or soft, which is how I enjoy it. They offer coffee and tea, keeping your cup warm throughout your meal. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I didn't think places like Mel's still existed. Bringing the old diner experience, with luncheonette seats as well as tables and skilled old-school waitresses, the feng shui alone is worth the visit. But the food is even better. And the prices don't seem to have heard about post-pandemic inflation, leaving room for a generous tip. I was on a road trip so don't live nearby, but I'll 100% be back the next time I'm in the area.
I had a wonderful breakfast/lunch at this restaurant with a friend. Just a heads up, they only accept cash, so make sure you're prepared for that. The service was excellent—very friendly and accommodating! The food was delicious, featuring a variety of breakfast items. The portions were generous and flavorful. There's plenty of parking available, too. Overall, it's definitely a fantastic spot for breakfast!
