It was my husbands birthday recently and he wanted to try Melzingah Tap House. So glad we did. The staff, hostess Laura, waiter Jacob, and support staff were awesome. The pretzel bites and hummus trio well worth getting. Some of our group loved the beer choices, others had specialty cocktails, which was quite a difference from some taphouses. Our entrees were very good as were the desserts. We recommend this restaurant. Not fancy, delicious and fun!!
I wish I had pictures! The food was amazing!!! Try the burger medium with the whipped feta, truffle fries and chopped salad with the house lemon vinaigrette. The whipped feta is light with a hint of spice. The truffle fries are hard to leave behind (and we didn’t). The salad is light but filling and the dressing only enhances the flavor. No condiments needed -says it all! I’ll be dreaming of this place back in Texas ️
Crazy good food. We sat at the bar, first time. Dana was attentive, always around, sweet and engaging in conversation. Her food recommendations were top notch. I had the Kung POW Brussels sprouts (super good) and the fried ravioli, then the pork chop. My wife had the Garganelli. Seriously good food here, good ambiance, easy location, easy parking. Looking forward to heading back.
Had a wonderful experience here after Dia and on our way to the Shakespeare Festival. Dana and Matthew were great—attentive, professional, and warm. Great looking place, nice atmosphere, but the food was overpriced and quite average. We spent over $120 for two adults and a child and left hungry and disappointed. Great staff but would never waste my money here again.
We haven't tried the beers (which is the main strength of the place), but the cocktails and the dinner were great, too! The place is popular, you probably need to reserve in advance to get a table.
Unwelcoming! Despite there being a few 4 person tables not marked for reservations, we were informed “we can only seat you outside — not sure who their customer is.
Great beer and very friendly and accommodating service. The food is generally good, but huge portions. Some of the veggie sides have a lot of oil/butter. Book a table now
